Our Process

Interview Process

Interviews are one-on-one and typically last between 2-3 hours. You can schedule an interview to take place at a home, office, or other more convenient location.

What We Need From You

We encourage the narrator (the person to be interviewed) to review the Story Matters Bubble Sheet PDF. This was created from hours of interactions with our clients during the research and development phase. This collection of topics others found important helps begin the process of reliving experiences that are many years in the past. Please look over this sheet a week or so in advance. No work other than thought is needed.
Gather and write brief descriptions for photos representing the various parts of the interviewed person’s life. These will be scanned and returned. The images will become part of the final product.
